OPFiles is a neutral, self-contained operational-files standard. Its formal name is the AIQT Development Operational Standard; OPFiles is the public brand. It is authored and maintained by Jeff Posluns.

OPFiles is authored and maintained by Jeff Posluns. AIQT and AIQT Guardrails are trademarks of Jeff Posluns (registration pending); AIQT is a brand, not a legal entity. The standard's formal name uses the AIQT trademark. Nothing in the base-required vocabulary names AIQT or any other adopter, and a project can align with the specification using its own checks. AIQT Guardrails is one reference enforcement suite and one consumer of the standard, with [profiles.aiqt] as its optional reference profile. A base adopter need not adopt the suite. See OPFiles and AIQT for that relationship.
