About OPFiles
OPFiles is a neutral, self-contained operational-files standard. Its formal name is the AIQT Development Operational Standard; OPFiles is the public brand. It is authored and maintained by Jeff Posluns and is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2).
Authorship and trademarks
OPFiles is authored and maintained by Jeff Posluns. AIQT and AIQT Guardrails are trademarks of
Jeff Posluns; AIQT is a brand, not a legal entity. The standard's formal name uses the AIQT
trademark. Nothing in the base-required vocabulary names AIQT or any other adopter, and a project
conforms with the specification and its own checks. AIQT Guardrails is one reference enforcement
suite and one consumer of the standard, with [profiles.aiqt] as its optional reference
profile. A base adopter need not adopt the suite.

Licence
The whole OPFiles project is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2). You may use, copy, adapt, distribute, and prepare derivative works of it freely, subject to the licence terms, and you keep your changes. The main restriction is that you may not offer it to others as a hosted or managed service that gives access to a substantial set of its features. You must keep the licence, copyright, and other notices intact. If you redistribute it, pass the terms along; modified copies must prominently note your modifications. The standard and the reference suite
The standard is the specification and quickstart. The reference enforcement suite is AIQT Guardrails, one consumer of the standard, whose source is on GitHub. A base adopter need not adopt the suite.
